GT BRAIN

Georgia Tech is excited to be part of the NSF BRAIN Center, an Industry–University Cooperative Research Center (IUCRC) based at the University of Houston, that focuses on neurotechnologies and bringing academia together with industry. The BRAIN center works with companies and connects them to students for internships, and then the companies help direct the research that goes on at Georgia Tech. The research includes everything from neuro rehabilitation and data science to robotics and studying new biomarkers for brain injury and Alzheimer’s disease. Our researchers bring expertise in cell systems, traumatic brain injury, and more from biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, and neuro.

Industry Partners

The Neuro Next Initiative aims to foster relationships between industry partners and faculty and students studying and working in areas related to neuroscience and neurotechnology.

Neuro Next can support industry partners seeking thought leaders, research collaborators, or future workforce. Faculty and student expertise spans basic and applied research in neuroscience and neurotechnology, including systems neuroscience, neuroengineering, computational neuroscience, and AI.
